Expression of Interest - Youth, Community & Family Work

Full Time | Part Time | Casual

It's an exciting time to join CTC's Community Services Team!

Over the coming months, we'll be growing our Community Services team, with a range of new opportunities in Youth, Community and Family Work.

We're inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from people who would like to join us and make a positive difference across the South Burnett community.

We are interested in hearing from people looking for:

  • Full Time work
  • Part Time work, with availability for a minimum of 3 days per week
  • Casual work

Whether you already have experience or you are looking to begin a rewarding career in community services, we would love to hear from you.

What kind of work could be available?

Depending on the opportunity, our roles may involve supporting people across our Youth, Community and Family services to build positive relationships, promote wellbeing and personal growth, and help them access the services, opportunities and support they need.

With a range of new opportunities becoming available, this EOI is a great way to let us know you're interested and for us to explore where your skills, experience, interests and availability might be the best fit.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications and previous work experience in Youth Work, Community Services, Social Work, Human Services or a related field are desirable, but not essential for all opportunities. On-the-job training and development will be provided where appropriate.

Most importantly, we are looking for people who:

  • Are passionate about supporting people and strengthening our community
  • Demonstrate empathy, professionalism and strong communication skills
  • Can build positive, respectful relationships with the people we support
  • Want to make a positive difference in the South Burnett community

Mandatory Requirements

All applicants must hold, or be willing to obtain:

  • Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • First Aid and CPR Certificates

How the EOI Process Works

Submit your EOI and resume, telling us a little about yourself, the type of work you are interested in, your availability and any relevant skills, qualifications or experience.

We'll review EOIs regularly and consider where applicants may be a good fit across our upcoming opportunities. If we identify a position that may suit you, we'll contact you to talk through the role. With your agreement, we can then move your application across to the relevant vacancy, so you won't need to start the application process again.

Ready to explore what's next?

Join South Burnett CTC and be part of a team working to create positive outcomes for people, families and communities across the South Burnett.

Submit your Expression of Interest today and let's see where your skills could take you at CTC.
