Position Overview

The Data and Reporting Analyst is a newly created and exciting position for the organisation, offering a unique opportunity to shape how CTC records, measures, understands, and demonstrates the impact of its work across all service areas for the benefit of the community.

This role will focus on ensuring data quality and consistency, integrating the Impact Measurement Framework across all service areas in CTC, and analysing and utilising data to report on trends, outcomes, service gaps, opportunities, and the impact of our work on the clients and community we support. By providing hands-on data analysis and developing comprehensive reporting tools, the Data and Reporting Analyst will help shape the strategic direction of CTC’s programs.

In this role, you will work closely with management and service delivery teams to ensure that client data is consistently captured and meaningfully utilised to inform decision-making and future priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the organisation has robust processes for accurate and timely data recording
  • Develop and maintain reliable data collection tools, dashboards and reports
  • Lead the integration and refinement of CTC’s Impact Measurement Framework across all service areas
  • Provide evidence-based insights and strategic advice to the leadership team
  • Undertake research projects, evaluations, and outcome assessments that support service improvement and community needs
  • Clearly communicate data insights to staff and stakeholders

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in outcomes measurement, program evaluation, and applied research, particularly within the community services sector. A tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as social science, statistics, information systems, business analytics, data analytics or similar is essential.

  • Proven experience in data analysis and reporting systems, including dashboard design and database management
  • Strong understanding of impact measurement principles and the social services environment
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to translate complex information into actionable insights
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and lead initiatives that enhance organisational capabilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail

Salary & Benefits

This position is classified under the Social, Community, Home Care, and Disability Services Industry Award 2010 (SCHADS) at Level 6, with a starting salary of $110,102.72 per annum, plus salary packaging opportunities.
