South Burnett CTC Inc (CTC) is a not-for-profit community organisation dedicated to providing support to disadvantaged individuals across various services, including Foster Care, Residential Care, Youth & Family Services, Domestic and Family Violence Services, and Disability Services. Position Overview

The Finance Officer – Accounts Receivable will play a key role within the Finance Team, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of accounts receivable and supporting various financial processes as needed. Reporting to the Financial Accountant, this role will primarily focus on accounts receivable, while also providing backfill for accounts payable and payroll functions during staff absences.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical skills and personal attributes that enable them to effectively contribute to the Finance Team’s objectives.

  • Proficiency in MYOB or equivalent accounting software and online banking is essential.
  • Qualifications and/or experience in business or finance-related disciplines are highly desirable.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation with a positive, solution-focused attitude.
  • Ability to uphold cultural sensitivity in interactions with diverse stakeholders.

Salary & Benefits

This position offers a salary of $38.65 per hour according to the Social and Community Services Worker Level 3 under the SCHADS Award, along with options for salary packaging. Additional benefits may include opportunities for professional development and a supportive work culture.
