Position Overview

The Disability Support Worker plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality care and support to our participants, actively working towards their goals as outlined in their NDIS Plan. This position is vital in empowering individuals to thrive and achieve their aspirations through compassionate and respectful care.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities, with the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or relevant qualification preferred.
  • Experience in personal care and supporting individuals with challenging behaviours.
  • Strong commitment to fostering respect and inclusion for individuals with disabilities.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Possession of a current Queensland Open Driver’s Licence.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Working with Children Blue Card.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Willingness to engage in continuous professional development and learning.

Successful candidates will demonstrate compassion, flexibility, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment while adhering to NDIS quality standards and organisational policies.

Salary & Benefits

The Disability Support Worker position is casual with a competitive hourly rate of $43.23 (SCHCADS Level 2.1) plus salary packaging options. You will receive ongoing support and training opportunities to enhance your skills and career growth.
