South Burnett CTC Inc. (CTC) is a not-for-profit community organisation committed to providing essential support services to disadvantaged individuals across various demographics. Our services span areas such as Foster Care, Residential Care, Youth & Family Services, Domestic and Family Violence Services, and Disability Services. We operate from multiple locations within the South Burnett area, including Kingaroy, Wondai, Nanango, and Murgon.
CTC is a registered provider with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, offering comprehensive support to individuals living with disabilities, including frontline support, Support Coordination, and Plan Management. Our mission is to empower individuals and promote their rights, independence, and inclusion.
Position Overview
The Support Coordinator will play a pivotal role in assisting individuals living with disabilities to effectively navigate the NDIS and maximise their funding. This position involves working closely with participants, their families, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and help them achieve their goals through appropriate support services.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a proactive and compassionate individual who is passionate about supporting people with disabilities. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Relevant qualifications in disability services, social work, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Industry experience in Support Coordination or case management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Commitment to promoting the rights and independence of individuals with disabilities
- Must hold a Queensland Open Driver’s Licence and have the ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certificates
- Current Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing an understanding of participants' NDIS plans, facilitating communication between participants and support agencies, and ensuring that services align with participants' goals and budgets. This role requires flexibility to adjust working hours to meet client needs and may involve participation in an on-call roster.
Salary & Benefits
The position offers a competitive salary based on qualifications and experience, falling within the Social and Community Services Worker Level 3 or 4 ($38.65 - $44.58 per hour), along with not-for-profit salary packaging options to enhance your take-home pay.
