South Burnett CTC Inc (CTC) is a not-for-profit community organisation dedicated to providing support to individuals from diverse backgrounds and ages. Our services encompass Foster Care, Residential Care, Youth & Family Services, Domestic and Family Violence Services, Disability Services, and our Gumnut Place Social Enterprise. With teams operating across Kingaroy, Wondai, Nanango, and Murgon, we strive to make a positive impact in the South Burnett area.

As a registered provider with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, we offer a comprehensive suite of support services aimed at enhancing the lives of people living with disabilities. This includes frontline support, Support Coordination, and Plan Management tailored to individual needs.

Position Overview

The Client Contact Officer is a pivotal role within the CTC Disability Services team, serving as the primary point of contact for clients receiving frontline support services. This position requires effective communication and collaboration with clients and their families to ensure the best match of support workers and to manage any changes to service delivery. The role demands a proactive approach to help clients maximise their NDIS funding and receive the appropriate level of care.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a background in Disability Services or a related field, demonstrating a strong understanding of the needs of individuals with disabilities and their families. Candidates should be equipped with the following:

  • Relevant qualifications in Disability Services or a related field (desirable).
  • Experience in Disability Services or relevant industries with a focus on client engagement.
  • Knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 and the associated regulatory framework.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and IT skills.
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries and a commitment to cultural sensitivity.
  • Current Queensland Open Driver’s Licence and First Aid/CPR Certificates (or willingness to obtain).
  • Compliance with screening requirements, including Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check.

As a Client Contact Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring clients have the support they need, facilitating communication between clients and support workers, and contributing to the overall success of the organisation.

Salary and Benefits

This full-time position is classified under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010 (SCHCADS) Level 3.1, offering a salary of $38.65 per hour, along with salary packaging options.
