South Burnett CTC Inc (CTC) is a not-for-profit community organisation dedicated to supporting disadvantaged individuals of all backgrounds and ages. We provide various services, including Foster Care, Residential Care, Youth & Family Services, and Disability Services throughout the South Burnett region.

Our Residential Services program is focused on delivering high-quality care for young people in need, ensuring they can connect with their communities and build a brighter future.

Position Overview

The House Coordinator is responsible for ensuring each Residential house has a safe, caring and nurturing environment for young people who reside there. 

The position involves participation in the on-call roster for approximately 3-4 days per fortnight.

Who We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have a passion for young people and making a difference in their lives. They will be self-learners and good communicators who will work well as part of the leadership team. 

  • Minimum of a Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention, Social Work, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in Residential Care or relevant industry with a focus on trauma-informed care
  • Proficiency in time management and IT systems to maintain accurate client records
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including participation in an on-call roster
