South Burnett CTC Inc (CTC) is a not-for-profit community organisation that provides vital support to disadvantaged individuals across all ages and backgrounds. Our services encompass various areas, including Foster Care, Residential Care, Youth & Family Services, Domestic and Family Violence Services, and Disability Services, operating from multiple locations in the South Burnett area.

Position Overview
The Disability Support Worker plays a critical role in delivering exceptional care and assistance to participants. This position involves working collaboratively to help individuals meet their NDIS goals and aspirations while adhering to the NDIS Code of Practice. Your focus will be on providing quality support that fosters independence and community engagement.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess a passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and demonstrate the following qualifications and attributes:
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or relevant qualification (desirable).
- Experience with personal care services and understanding of challenging behaviors.
- Strong commitment to empowering individuals with disabilities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with participants and colleagues.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of participants.
- Current Queensland Open Driver’s License and First Aid/CPR Certificates (or willingness to obtain).
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance for transporting participants.
- Ability to pass NDIS Worker Screening Check and obtain Working with Children Blue Card.
Salary & Benefits
This casual position offers an attractive hourly rate of $41.76, in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, plus salary packaging options.
