South Burnett CTC Inc (CTC) is a not-for-profit community organisation dedicated to supporting individuals and families across various backgrounds and needs. Our services encompass Foster Care, Residential Care, Youth & Family Services, Domestic and Family Violence Services, and Disability Services, operating in the South Burnett region from Kingaroy, Wondai, Nanango, and Murgon.

Our Community Engagement Team plays a pivotal role in making positive connections with community members, fostering trust, and facilitating access to essential services.

Position Overview

The Community Engagement Team Leader is responsible for the management and coordination of the first-contact process and customer service operations within the Community Engagement program. This role requires an individual who can develop and promote efficient service and referral pathways while ensuring that clients feel valued and supported from their first interaction.

As a leader, you will mentor a team of community engagement staff, enhance communication between clients and service providers, and ensure the delivery of consistent and exceptional client service. This position involves proactive outreach efforts to engage isolated communities in the South Burnett region.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a motivated individual with a strong background in social work or community services, equipped with excellent leadership and communication skills.

  • Qualifications in Social Work, Community Services, or related fields (desirable).
  • Demonstrated experience in managing frontline customer service operations.
  • Proficiency in client management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to engage hard-to-reach individuals, foster collaborative relationships, and maintain high attention to detail in client data management. A commitment to cultural sensitivity and understanding of relevant legislative frameworks is essential.

Salary & Benefits

This is a full-time position with a salary range based on the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010 (SCHCADS), with the option for salary packaging. The role offers flexibility in working hours to meet the needs of clients, with a salary range of $49.28 to $53.84 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.
