South Burnett CTC Inc (CTC) is a not-for-profit community organisation committed to supporting disadvantaged individuals across various demographics. Our services span Foster Care, Residential Care, Youth & Family Services, Domestic and Family Violence Services, Disability Services, and the Gumnut Place Social Enterprise. We operate throughout the South Burnett area, with teams based in Kingaroy, Wondai, Nanango, and Murgon.

Position Overview

The Finance Officer is a key member of the Finance Team, responsible for the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and various financial transactions. The role requires a collaborative approach to ensure all financial processes are executed efficiently, with a primary focus on accounts payable while also being prepared to support other areas as needed.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Proficient in MYOB or equivalent accounting software and online banking.
  • Experience or qualifications in finance or business disciplines are desirable.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft 365, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong communication skills to facilitate collaboration with stakeholders.

Salary & Benefits

This full-time position offers an attractive salary of $37.35 per hour, in line with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010 (level 3). Additional benefits include salary packaging options and opportunities for professional development. As a not-for-profit organisation, we provide salary packaging options of up to $15,900 for eligible living expenses, plus up to $2,649 for meals and entertainment.
