Position Overview

The Human Resources Officer is a vital generalist role within our organisation, tasked with facilitating human resource processes and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. This position is essential in fostering positive workplace relationships and partnering with managers and staff on employment matters, recruitment, onboarding, and other HR processes.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with the Human Resources team, contributing to the development and implementation of HR strategies that align with our organisational goals and enhance the workplace environment.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual who possesses a strong foundation in human resources principles and practices. The ideal candidate will be committed to upholding our organisational values and enhancing workplace culture.

  • Qualifications in Human Resources or a related field (desirable)
  • Experience in Human Resources or similar discipline
  • Knowledge of the community services industry (desirable)
  • Familiarity with Employment Hero (HR & Payroll) (desirable)

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, time management abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement within the organisation. Cultural awareness and sensitivity are also essential to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Salary & Benefits

The position offers a salary at either Level 4 ($43.08 per hour) or Level 5 ($49.28 per hour) of the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award, based on relevant skills and qualifications. As a not-for-profit organisation, we provide salary packaging options of up to $15,900 for eligible living expenses, plus up to $2,649 for meals and entertainment.

In addition, we offer a flexible 9-day fortnight option, ongoing training, and development opportunities to support your career growth.
