Position Overview
The Youth Worker will play a vital role in the Bail Support and Reconnect programs, which focus on supporting high-risk young people involved in the youth justice system and those facing homelessness. This position requires a proactive approach to service delivery, community engagement, and program development to ensure young people receive the necessary support.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in youth work or community services, along with the ability to engage effectively with young people and families. A commitment to cultural sensitivity and understanding of the unique needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities is essential.
- Relevant qualifications in Youth Work, Community Services, or a related field
- Experience in addressing complex issues such as homelessness and mental health
- Ability to develop and implement targeted programs and case plans
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and community stakeholders
Salary & Benefits
