With a certificate of registration from the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, we offer a comprehensive suite of supports designed to empower people living with disabilities. Position Overview
The Disability Services Team Leader will play a crucial role in supporting the Service Manager to deliver effective and personalized disability support services. This position involves leading a team of Disability Support Workers, ensuring compliance with NDIS standards, and fostering a supportive and positive workplace culture.
Your primary focus will be on mentoring staff, enhancing their skills, and ensuring they provide respectful and empowering support to participants. This role requires flexibility in working hours, as well as on-call responsibilities to meet the needs of the service.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a deep understanding of disability services. You will be committed to upholding the values of CTC and ensuring high-quality service delivery to participants.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring staff in diverse situations.
- Qualifications in Disability Services or a related field are desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of NDIS frameworks, compliance, and reporting standards.
- Excellent communication, time management, and IT skills.
- Hold a current Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Card
Salary & Benefits
This is a full-time position with an attractive salary of $47.50 per hour (Level 5) as per the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, plus opportunities for salary packaging.
