With a Certificate of Registration from the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, we offer a comprehensive range of support to individuals living with disabilities. Our services are designed to empower clients, ensuring they have the choice and control over their support options.
Position Overview
The Client Contact Officer plays a crucial role in delivering frontline support services to clients within the NDIS framework. This position involves liaising with clients and their families to ensure effective support delivery, managing rosters, and assisting clients in utilising their NDIS funding effectively. The role requires strong communication skills, keen attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to client engagement.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual who possesses the following attributes:
- Qualifications in Disability Services or a related field (desirable).
- Experience in Disability Services or a relevant industry, with a strong understanding of client needs.
- Knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 and relevant regulations.
- Excellent communication, time management, and IT skills.
- Current Queensland Open Driver’s License and First Aid/CPR Certificates (or the ability to acquire them).
- Compliance with screening requirements, including a Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to cultural awareness and sensitivity, ensuring that all interactions are respectful and inclusive. You will be expected to manage your time effectively and maintain accurate client records in a timely manner.
Salary & Benefits
This full-time position offers an attractive salary of $37.35 per hour (Level 3) under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, with opportunities for salary packaging.
