South Burnett CTC Inc (CTC) is a not-for-profit community organisation dedicated to providing support to disadvantaged individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Our services span various sectors including Foster Care, Residential Care, Youth & Family Services, Domestic and Family Violence Services, and Disability Services. We operate across the South Burnett area with teams located in Kingaroy, Wondai, Nanango, and Murgon.
Through our Partners in Foster Care Service, we recruit, train, assess, and support foster carers to ensure that children and young people under Child Protection Orders receive the compassionate care and support they need.
Position Overview
The Office Manager for Partners in Foster Care will be instrumental in providing organisational and administrative support. This role demands sound judgment, initiative, and a commitment to confidentiality. The Office Manager will effectively manage their own time, plan work, and solve problems while collaborating closely with team members to uphold established policies and procedures. The successful management of office operations will ensure that carers receive the support necessary to meet the needs of children and young people in the foster care system.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess a blend of interpersonal and administrative skills, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving and time management.
- Demonstrated experience in providing excellent customer service and administrative support.
- Strong planning, organisational, and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 and data management systems.
- Possess a valid Queensland Driver’s License and First Aid/CPR certificates.
- Compliance with necessary screening checks and licenses, including Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
