With a focus on Foster Care, Residential Care, Youth & Family Services, Domestic and Family Violence Services, Disability Services, and the Gumnut Place Social Enterprise, CTC serves the South Burnett area through multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities
As a Domestic and Family Violence Disability Specialist with CTC, you will play a crucial role in providing support to individuals who have a disability and are impacted by domestic violence. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks, delivering culturally appropriate support, collaborating with other organisations, providing advocacy and referral services, and developing and implementing training programs to raise awareness and improve responses to domestic and family violence within the disability sector.
You will work across locations in Wondai, Kingaroy, and Murgon, contributing to the safety and well-being of those in need within the community.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Our ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum 3-year degree in Counselling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience working with high-risk domestic violence situations and individuals with disabilities
- Demonstrated ability to ensure personal and professional safety in challenging environments
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and frameworks related to domestic and family violence
- Strong communication and advocacy skills, with a proactive approach to supporting clients
Salary & Benefits
This position offers a Level 4 salary ($43.08 per hour) of the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award with salary packaging options.
A relocation incentive package of $3,300 may be provided for the successful applicant.
