- Respite support and mentoring for young people

Responsibilities
The Youth Worker will be responsible for providing care and support to young people in accordance with organisational policies and procedures. This includes adhering to individual support plans, reporting incidents and concerns, and maintaining accurate case notes.
Additionally, the Youth Worker will assist with client transport as approved, report service quality complaints, and collaborate with Team Leaders/Service Managers to address any issues effectively.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this role will possess:
- Qualifications in Youth Work or related field desirable
- Industry experience in youth work, community service, child protection or other experience that demonstrates the ability to engage with and support young people
- Familiarity with legislative requirements
- QLD Open Drivers License
- Working with Children Blue Card
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
Salary & Benefits
This position offers a salary at Level 2.1 ($41.76) or 3.1 ($46.69) of the Social, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award, depending on qualifications. Salary packaging is also available.
